RHD Programme at World Society of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Edinburgh, 21 September

Monday 21 September 2015 will see the RHD programme sessions at the annual World Society of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (WSCTS), which is being hosted this year by the city of Edinburgh. The morning starts with abstract presentations, followed by sessions on patient-centric surgical and medical care for people living with RHD, presented by delegates from South Africa and Mozambique. Speakers from Switzerland, Brazil and New Zealand will then present on the interplay between health systems and RHD prevention and control. The RHD programme will end with a panel discussion on global and local strategies to improve surgical and cardiac care for the RHD patient. Planning on attending the WSCTS?
