Health in All Policies: What is its role in progressing the Sustainable Development Goals?

28 March 2017 - 29 March 2017 Adelaide, South Australia Add to calendar

The Government of South Australia in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) is delighted to announce a conference as a satellite event to the World Congress on Public Health.

The Adelaide Conference will explore the role of Health in All Policies in successful implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and will reflect upon the South Australian experience, and that of other countries, of Health in All Policies over ten years. The conference will build on the outcomes of the 9th Global Conference on Health Promotion in Shanghai November 2016.

Professor Ilona Kickbusch, recognised throughout the world for her contribution to health promotion and global health, will be the keynote speaker. Professor Kickbusch will also lead a two-day Masterclass on applying a Health in all Policies approach on the 28 and 29th March 2017.

For delegates wishing to attend the Adelaide Conference in the lead up to the World Congress on Public Health, Melbourne is a one-hour flight from Adelaide, with flights scheduled regularly.
