Incentivizing Investments in Access to Quality Medicines (Side event World Health Assembly)
Access to quality medicines is critical to positive public health outcomes. However, according to a recent WHO study, the prevalence of substandard and falsified medicines is as high as 10%; and shortages of quality assured essential medicines remain a significant challenge. Join USP for a cross-sector roundtable session, convened by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and strategic partners, to discuss this challenge and identify opportunities to develop sustainable sources of quality-assured essential medicines.
The event is scheduled to take place 9AM-11AM, May 25th at the InterContinental Hotel, Chemin Du Petit-Saconnex 7-9 Geneva, Switzerland.
