WHO and WHF World Heart Day lunchtime seminar
You are warmly invited to attend the joint WHO and WHF World Heart Day lunchtime seminar in Geneva, 29th September 2016.
The event will see the launch of World Heart Day 2016 and present the World Heart Federation's supporting global policy call, the CVD World Monitor data visualization tool and policy brief, which looks at how countries and regions collect data on CVD with a focus on premature mortality caused by CVD.
The World Health Organization will present their Global Hearts Initiative. Designed to help prevent heart attacks and strokes, this Initiative will help governments to implement both population-level and clinical interventions to reduce CVD rates.
