In July 2018 AstraZeneca launched “Step Up!” Young Health Global Grants Programme offering non-profit organisations grants of up to $10,000 to help their ideas and projects to ‘step up’ to the next level. If you would like to apply please first read the Guidance  for Applicants to ensure that your project fits with the programme and apply online before 14th September 2018.

“Step Up!” aims to improve the lives of young people by encouraging new thinking and new practices in public health. Like the YHP its focus is principally on reducing the risk behaviours that are associated with non-communicable diseases.

“Step Up!” is designed not just to help the organisations that benefit directly from the grants but everyone who is involved in the field of youth health promotion. We will do this by sharing the outcomes and findings from the programmes so that they can inform future activities. For this we need applications to state clearly what outcomes they plan to achieve and how they are going to measure progress.
