The Medtronic Foundation is currently seeking applications for the Bakken Invitation, a global program that recognizes and connects inspiring individuals who have benefited from medical technology and are now making a difference in communities through advocacy, innovation and volunteering.

Named after Medtronic co-founder Earl Bakken, the Bakken Invitation brings together patients who “Live On” through their advocacy contributions, “Give On” through innovation, and “Dream On” through their vision of a better world. Each year, the Medtronic Foundation selects a new group of honorees who are invited to Hawaii to be recognized by Earl Bakken in person. The program includes five inspirational days of learning and networking with other individuals committed to making a difference. Attendees leave with a sharpened set of skills, new connections and a heightened sense of purpose.
